WAKEFIELD — On Sunday, 27 September 2026, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of the parish of Saint Francis de Sales, together with the newly established Saint Bernard conference in North Kingstown, will hold a Friends of the Poor Walk at The Prout School, 4640 Tower Hill Road.
Registration will begin at 10:30am, with the one-mile walk beginning at 11:30am. Music, food, and family activities will also be offered.
Funds raised by each Saint Vincent de Paul conference will be returned to that conference to assist those in need within the local community.
Registration forms are available at Saint Francis de Sales, and participants may also support the event by sponsoring someone who will be walking.
