WOONSOCKET – The parish of Holy Trinity, 1409 Park Avenue, will observe the annual Season of Creation with several activities during September and October. The 2026 theme, “Living Water,” is drawn from Ezekiel 47:1-12 and reflects upon God’s life-giving gift of water.
The Season of Creation is an annual ecumenical observance during which Christians throughout the world unite in prayer and action for the care of creation. The scheduled activities are:
- Saturday, 19 September, from 9am until 12pm: Electronic recycling in the church parking lot. Participants may bring old electronic items for recycling.
- Sunday, 27 September, at 2pm: “Living Water,” a program of song, prayer and readings directed by John Guevremont. Pastries and cold drinks will follow in the school hall.
- Saturday, 3 October, at 10am: Blessing of Animals in Carnival Field in observance of the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi.
- Saturday and Sunday, 3 and 4 October: Fair-trade coffee and chocolate sale following all Masses: 4pm on Saturday, and 8am, 10:30am, and 12pm (Spanish) on Sunday.
